All identifiers, regardless of use, that start with two underscores are reserved. This means they can't be used in header guards. The style that this project is now to use the full name of the file in capital letters followed by 'H'. For example, for a file called "uart_example.h", the header guard is UART_EXAMPLE_H. The exceptions are files that are imported from other projects: - CryptoCell driver - dt-bindings folders - zlib headers Change-Id: I50561bf6c88b491ec440d0c8385c74650f3c106e Signed-off-by: Antonio Nino Diaz <antonio.ninodiaz@arm.com>

This patch adds support to select CCN driver for FVP during build. A new build option `FVP_INTERCONNECT_DRIVER` is added to allow selection between the CCI and CCN driver. Currently only the CCN-502 variant is supported on FVP. The common ARM CCN platform helper file now verifies the cluster count declared by platform is equal to the number of root node masters exported by the ARM Standard platform. It is up to the platform to implement the new plat_crash_print_regs macro to report all relevant platform registers helpful for troubleshooting. plat_crash_print_regs merges or calls previously defined plat_print_gic_regs and plat_print_interconnect_regs macros for each existing platforms. NOTE: THIS COMMIT REQUIRES ALL PLATFORMS THAT ENABLE THE `CRASH_REPORTING` BUILD FLAG TO MIGRATE TO USE THE NEW `plat_crash_print_regs()` MACRO. BY DEFAULT, `CRASH_REPORTING` IS ENABLED IN DEBUG BUILDS FOR ALL PLATFORMS. Fixes: arm-software/tf-issues#373 Signed-off-by: Gerald Lejeune <gerald.lejeune@st.com>

ARM Trusted Firmware supports 2 different interconnect peripheral drivers: CCI and CCN. ARM platforms are implemented using either of the interconnect peripherals. This patch adds a layer of abstraction to help ARM platform ports to choose the right interconnect driver and corresponding platform support. This is as described below: 1. A set of ARM common functions have been implemented to initialise an interconnect and for entering/exiting a cluster from coherency. These functions are prefixed as "plat_arm_interconnect_". Weak definitions of these functions have been provided for each type of driver. 2.`plat_print_interconnect_regs` macro used for printing CCI registers is moved from a common arm_macros.S to cci_macros.S. 3. The `ARM_CONFIG_HAS_CCI` flag used in `arm_config_flags` structure is renamed to `ARM_CONFIG_HAS_INTERCONNECT`. Change-Id: I02f31184fbf79b784175892d5ce1161b65a0066c

This patch adds platform helpers for the new GICv2 and GICv3 drivers in plat_gicv2.c and plat_gicv3.c. The platforms can include the appropriate file in their build according to the GIC driver to be used. The existing plat_gic.c is only meant for the legacy GIC driver. In the case of ARM platforms, the major changes are as follows: 1. The crash reporting helper macro `arm_print_gic_regs` that prints the GIC CPU interface register values has been modified to detect the type of CPU interface being used (System register or memory mappped interface) before using the right interface to print the registers. 2. The power management helper function that is called after a core is powered up has been further refactored. This is to highlight that the per-cpu distributor interface should be initialised only when the core was originally powered down using the CPU_OFF PSCI API and not when the CPU_SUSPEND PSCI API was used. 3. In the case of CSS platforms, the system power domain restore helper `arm_system_pwr_domain_resume()` is now only invoked in the `suspend_finish` handler as the system power domain is always expected to be initialized when the `on_finish` handler is invoked. Major update to the FVP platform port to use the common platform code in (include/)plat/arm/* and (include/)plat/common/*. This mainly consists of removing duplicated code but also introduces some small behavioural changes where there was unnecessary variation between the FVP and Juno ports. See earlier commit titled `Add common ARM and CSS platform code` for details. Also add support for Foundation FVP version 9.1 during FVP config setup to prevent a warning being emitted in the console. Change-Id: I254ca854987642ce09d1b924c9fd410a6e13e3bc

This patch avoids the problem of crash reporting mechanism accessing global data in BSS by 'plat_print_gic_regs' for FVP platforms. Earlier it depended on the global 'plat_config' object for the GIC Base address in FVP platforms which would have caused exception if it were accessed before the BSS was initialized. It is now fixed by dynamically querying the V2M_SYS_ID to find the FVP model type and accordingly selecting the appropriate GIC Base address. This patch also fixes the 'plat_print_gic_regs' to use the correct GIC Distributor base address for printing GICD_IS_PENDR register values for both Juno and FVP platforms. This patch provides a workaround for the ASM_ASSERT label issue and also reworks the use of labels in assembly macros. If the caller of the ASM_ASSERT macro happened to use the label '1' to jump past the ASM_ASSERT macro, it would not have worked since the ASM_ASSERT macro internally used the same label. Hence, as a workaround, this patch makes the label a high number in the expectation that the caller will never use it. Also updated the other assembly macros using numerical labels to named lables. * Create cci_init() function in CCI-400 driver to allow platform to provide arguments needed by the driver (i.e. base address and cluster indices for the ACE slave interfaces). * Rename cci_(en|dis)able_coherency to cci_(en|dis)able_cluster_coherency to make it clear that the driver only enables/disables the coherency of CPU clusters and not other devices connected to the CCI-400. * Update FVP port to use new cci_init() function and remove unnecessary CCI defintions from platform_def.h. Also rename fvp_cci_setup() to fvp_cci_enable() to more clearly differentiate between CCI initialization and enabling. This patch reworks the crash reporting mechanism to further optimise the stack and code size. The reporting makes use of assembly console functions to avoid calling C Runtime to report the CPU state. The crash buffer requirement is reduced to 64 bytes with this implementation. The crash buffer is now part of per-cpu data which makes retrieving the crash buffer trivial. Also now panic() will use crash reporting if invoked from BL3-1. Fixes ARM-software/tf-issues#199 Change-Id: I79d27a4524583d723483165dc40801f45e627da5

Previously, platform.h contained many declarations and definitions used for different purposes. This file has been split so that: * Platform definitions used by common code that must be defined by the platform are now in platform_def.h. The exact include path is exported through $PLAT_INCLUDES in the platform makefile. * Platform definitions specific to the FVP platform are now in /plat/fvp/fvp_def.h. * Platform API declarations specific to the FVP platform are now in /plat/fvp/fvp_private.h. * The remaining platform API declarations that must be ported by each platform are still in platform.h but this file has been moved to /include/plat/common since this can be shared by all platforms. This patch implements the register reporting when unhandled exceptions are taken in BL3-1. Unhandled exceptions will result in a dump of registers to the console, before halting execution by that CPU. The Crash Stack, previously called the Exception Stack, is used for this activity. This stack is used to preserve the CPU context and runtime stack contents for debugging and analysis. This also introduces the per_cpu_ptr_cache, referenced by tpidr_el3, to provide easy access to some of BL3-1 per-cpu data structures. Initially, this is used to provide a pointer to the Crash stack. panic() now prints the the error file and line number in Debug mode and prints the PC value in release mode. The Exception Stack is renamed to Crash Stack with this patch. The original intention of exception stack is no longer valid since we intend to support several valid exceptions like IRQ and FIQ in the trusted firmware context. This stack is now utilized for dumping and reporting the system state when a crash happens and hence the rename.
