This patch adds the IIDR value for GIC600-AE to the gicv3_is_gic600() helper function. This helps platforms supporting this version of the GIC600 interrupt controller to function with the generic GIC driver. The only difference between GIC-500 and GIC-600 relevant to TF-A is the differing power management sequence. A certain GIC implementation is detectable at runtime, for instance by checking the IIDR register. Let's add that test before initiating the GIC-600 specific sequence, so the code can be used on both GIC-600 and GIC-500 chips alike, without deciding on a GIC chip at compile time. This means that the GIC-500 "driver" is now redundant. To allow minimal platform support, add a switch to disable GIC-600 support. Arm's GIC-600 features a Power Register (GICR_PWRR), which needs to be programmed to enable redistributor operation. Section 3.6.1 in the GIC-600 TRM describes the power-up and power-down sequence in pseudo code, which deviates from the current TF-A implementation in drivers/arm/gic/v3/gic600.c. For powering on a redistributor, the pseudo code suggests to loop over the whole sequence (check for transition, write request bit) instead of just looping over the ready bit read as TF-A does in gic600_pwr_on(). This patch fixes GIC-600 power up sequence according to the TRM. Change-Id: I445c480e96ba356b69a2d8e5308ffe6c0a97f45b Signed-off-by: Alexei Fedorov <Alexei.Fedorov@arm.com>

Enforce full include path for includes. Deprecate old paths. The following folders inside include/lib have been left unchanged: - include/lib/cpus/${ARCH} - include/lib/el3_runtime/${ARCH} The reason for this change is that having a global namespace for includes isn't a good idea. It defeats one of the advantages of having folders and it introduces problems that are sometimes subtle (because you may not know the header you are actually including if there are two of them). For example, this patch had to be created because two headers were called the same way: e0ea0928 ("Fix gpio includes of mt8173 platform to avoid collision."). More recently, this patch has had similar problems: 46f9b2c3 ("drivers: add tzc380 support"). This problem was introduced in commit 4ecca339 ("Move include and source files to logical locations"). At that time, there weren't too many headers so it wasn't a real issue. However, time has shown that this creates problems. Platforms that want to preserve the way they include headers may add the removed paths to PLAT_INCLUDES, but this is discouraged. During system suspend, the GICv3 Distributor and Redistributor context can be lost due to power gating of the system power domain. This means that the GICv3 context needs to be saved prior to system suspend and restored on wakeup. Currently the consensus is that the Firmware should be in charge of this. See tf-issues#464 for more details. This patch introduces helper APIs in the GICv3 driver to save and restore the Distributor and Redistributor contexts. The GICv3 ITS context is not considered in this patch because the specification says that the details of ITS power management is implementation-defined. These APIs are expected to be appropriately invoked by the platform layer during system suspend. ARM GIC-600 IP complies with ARM GICv3 architecture, but among others, implements a power control register in the Redistributor frame. This register must be programmed to mark the frame as powered on, before accessing other registers in the frame. Rest of initialization sequence remains the same. The driver provides APIs for Redistributor power management, and overrides those in the generic GICv3 driver. The driver data is shared between generic GICv3 driver and that of GIC-600. For FVP platform, the GIC-600 driver is chosen when FVP_USE_GIC_DRIVER is set to FVP_GIC600. Also update user guide.
