Conditional definition for the macro MAX_NUMBER_IDS. This will allow to update this definition by the platform specific implementation. Since, NXP SoC lx2160a based platforms requires additional FIP DDR to be loaded before initializing the DDR. It requires addition of defines for DDR image IDs. A dedicated header plat_tbbr_img_def.h is added to the platform folder - plat/nxp/common/include/default/ Inclusion of this header file will depend on the compile time flag PLAT_TBBR_IMG_DEF. For dualroot CoT there are two sets of SP certificates, one owned by Silicon Provider(SiP) and other owned by Platform. Each certificate can have a maximum of 4 SPs. This patch reduces the number of SiP owned SPs from 8 to 4 and adds the remaining 4 to Plat owned SP. Plat owned SP certificate is signed using Platform RoT key and protected against anti-rollback using the Non-trusted Non-volatile counter. Currently only single signing domain is supported for SP packages but there is plan to support dual signing domains if CoT is dualroot. SP_CONTENT_CERT_ID is the certificate file which is currently generated and signed with trusted world key which in-turn is derived from Silicon provider RoT key. To allow dual signing domain for SP packages, other certificate file will be derived from Platform owned RoT key. This patch renames "SP_CONTENT_CERT_ID" to "SIP_SP_CONTENT_CERT_ID" and does other related changes. A new certificate "sip-sp-cert" has been added for Silicon Provider(SiP) owned Secure Partitions(SP). A similar support for Platform owned SP can be added in future. The certificate is also protected against anti- rollback using the trusted Non-Volatile counter. To avoid deviating from TBBR spec, support for SP CoT is only provided in dualroot. Secure Partition content certificate is assigned image ID 31 and SP images follows after it. This patch adds a new include/export/ directory meant for inclusion in third-party code. This is useful for cases where third-party code needs to interact with TF-A interfaces and data structures (such as a custom BL2-implementation like coreboot handing off to BL31). Directly including headers from the TF-A repository avoids having to duplicate all these definitions (and risk them going stale), but with the current header structure this is not possible because handoff API definitions are too deeply intertwined with other TF code/headers and chain-include other headers that will not be available in the other environment. The new approach aims to solve this by separating only the parts that are really needed into these special headers that are self-contained and will not chain-include other (non-export) headers. TF-A code should never include them directly but should instead always include the respective wrapper header, which will include the required prerequisites (like <stdint.h>) before including the export header. Third-party code can include the export headers via its own wrappers that make sure the necessary definitions are available in whatever way that environment can provide them. Enforce full include path for includes. Deprecate old paths. The following folders inside include/lib have been left unchanged: - include/lib/cpus/${ARCH} - include/lib/el3_runtime/${ARCH} The reason for this change is that having a global namespace for includes isn't a good idea. It defeats one of the advantages of having folders and it introduces problems that are sometimes subtle (because you may not know the header you are actually including if there are two of them). For example, this patch had to be created because two headers were called the same way: e0ea0928 ("Fix gpio includes of mt8173 platform to avoid collision."). More recently, this patch has had similar problems: 46f9b2c3 ("drivers: add tzc380 support"). This problem was introduced in commit 4ecca339 ("Move include and source files to logical locations"). At that time, there weren't too many headers so it wasn't a real issue. However, time has shown that this creates problems. Platforms that want to preserve the way they include headers may add the removed paths to PLAT_INCLUDES, but this is discouraged. All identifiers, regardless of use, that start with two underscores are reserved. This means they can't be used in header guards. The style that this project is now to use the full name of the file in capital letters followed by 'H'. For example, for a file called "uart_example.h", the header guard is UART_EXAMPLE_H. This patch replaces all references to the SCP Firmware (BL0, BL30, BL3-0, bl30) with the image terminology detailed in the TF wiki (https://github.com/ARM-software/arm-trusted-firmware/wiki): BL0 --> SCP_BL1 BL30, BL3-0 --> SCP_BL2 bl30 --> scp_bl2 This change affects code, documentation, build system, tools and platform ports that load SCP firmware. ARM plaforms have been updated to the new porting API. Firmware update(a.k.a FWU) feature is part of the TBB architecture. BL1 is responsible for carrying out the FWU process if platform specific code detects that it is needed. This patch adds support for FWU feature support in BL1 which is included by enabling `TRUSTED_BOARD_BOOT` compile time flag. This patch adds bl1_fwu.c which contains all the core operations of FWU, which are; SMC handler, image copy, authentication, execution and resumption. It also adds bl1.h introducing #defines for all BL1 SMCs. Following platform porting functions are introduced: int bl1_plat_mem_check(uintptr_t mem_base, unsigned int mem_size, unsigned int flags); This function can be used to add platform specific memory checks for the provided base/size for the given security state. The weak definition will invoke `assert()` and return -ENOMEM. __dead2 void bl1_plat_fwu_done(void *cookie, void *reserved); This function can be used to initiate platform specific procedure to mark completion of the FWU process. The weak definition waits forever calling `wfi()`. plat_bl1_common.c contains weak definitions for above functions. FWU process starts when platform detects it and return the image_id other than BL2_IMAGE_ID by using `bl1_plat_get_next_image_id()` in `bl1_main()`. This patch adds a CoT based on the Trusted Board Boot Requirements document*. The CoT consists of an array of authentication image descriptors indexed by the image identifiers. A new header file with TBBR image identifiers has been added. Platforms that use the TBBR (i.e. ARM platforms) may reuse these definitions as part of their platform porting. PLATFORM PORT - IMPORTANT: Default image IDs have been removed from the platform common definitions file (common_def.h). As a consequence, platforms that used those common definitons must now either include the IDs provided by the TBBR header file or define their own IDs. *The NVCounter authentication method has not been implemented yet.
